best pulley system for home gym
For those of you who are interested in adding home gyms to your home, a pulley system might be just what you’re looking for. I have tried many different pulleys, but none have worked as well for me as the one from The Home Depot, so I am absolutely thrilled to offer this one to you. In this post I will talk about the types of pulleys that I use for home gyms and then I will go over why I use each type.
The first type I like is the “open-to-the-air” pulley, the one that you can just screw into a wall. It gives you a wide range of motion with a very low profile, but it can slip and slide quite a bit. The other type I like is the “closed-to-the-air” pulley. These pulleys are much more rigid.
Open-to-the-air pulleys are good for the same reason that your car has a little bit of extra space under the hood. They are good for a variety of movements, including rotational and forward and back movements. These pulleys are also very low maintenance. They will not need to be replaced after a couple of years of regular use.
A common mistake people make when building a home gym is using the pulley system. I have heard people compare it to a home gym: no walls, no cables, no cable loops, and no weights. But, while that may sound great, it is really not great. Many people have had a problem with the weight loop. If you do not have a weight loop, you will probably do a lot of dead areas when you use the pulley system.
