cat eye injury home treatment

For years I have had the same injury and it is still painful and debilitating. I went to the ER on 8/02/08 and on 10/02/08 I was admitted to the hospital. I have had to spend the last year taking up to 30 days off of work due to the injury. I would like to know what I can do to prevent and/or minimize future injury.

I had a CAT scan on Wednesday and the results are very encouraging. They found a tumor on my temporal bone. I am very fortunate and very thankful for the doctor who saw me, and the nurse who put me in the right room. I am hoping to avoid having to have a facial nerve injury. I am going to continue to stay out of work until the tumor has been removed.

I’m very thankful for the doctors who examined me this morning as well. They found a large tumor in my sinus cavity which is not the worst thing that could possibly happen to any of us. I wish we had an oncologist here in the States because the cancer would have been much more aggressive.

The treatment may be a little more involved than just a simple facial nerve resection. I am hoping that the cancer has spread to my brain first, causing any damage that is already there to heal faster. The tumor itself is extremely well vascularized and thus unlikely to heal quickly, and the only way to know for sure is to remove it. It’s likely that the cancer will have grown, and be slow to heal.

The good news is that it is treatable, but you will need to have it treated. If there is no cure for it, this treatment will be the only option.

You should be seeing a lot more cat eye surgeries in the future, but this is the first that I’ve heard of one. I’m hoping it is one of the first in the world because cats are amazing creatures.
