What I mean is that we can’t just go online and do a free kinematic test for the purpose of measuring our upper body strength. That’s one thing, but I don’t think it means we can’t exercise at home to see if we’re strong enough.
Well, I guess you can, but in our case it just means that it would cost a fortune and we probably wouldn’t know if we were strong enough. We have a few things going for us that make it so much easier to do at home.
The first thing is that our home is actually a pretty large space, so it doesn’t matter if we are doing an isokinetic test in our apartment. The second thing is that we still have to do the actual exercise. It’s something that gets easier every single time we do it. We just don’t seem to be able to train our muscles in the same way that we train our body.
I have two points to make here. The first is that when we are in our apartment we do not do an isokinetic test. We do not lie on the floor with weights and do a full body workout. We do however, train our body and that is what makes it easier. The second is that we have the luxury of actually training in our home.
