home dialysis requirements
Just a few years ago, I had a kidney transplant and had to be on dialysis for the first time in my life. I had to go through the process of having to take blood thinners, which I found to be a bit overwhelming at first. As the months went by and I got to understand the process, I realized that dialysis wasn’t just about helping me live a normal life.
The number one reason for getting dialysis is because of the blood vessels that your kidneys produce. If your blood isnt filtering properly, your kidneys cannot keep up with your blood flow. Because of this, the kidneys need blood thinners and drugs that reduce blood pressure and remove toxins from your body. If you are in kidney failure, you are at risk for developing both kidney failure and severe heart attack.
