penile papules home treatment
This post is meant to be a part of an ongoing series on penile papules, and it is a topic that every doctor, dermatologist, and papule sufferer should know about. Penile papules are an extremely common type of skin condition affecting approximately 35 percent of men and 40 percent of women. Papules are caused by tiny blood vessels that grow on the face and body of the penis and are painful.
Penile papules are often caused by chronic inflammation and are treated with topical steroids. Penile papules can also be caused by a viral infection. In this case, topical antibiotics may be prescribed so that the papules don’t become infected. Treatment of these papules can take a couple of months depending on the cause.
I have heard it described as a rash that happens on the tip of the penis. This is not true. It happens on the tip of the penis, but it is not a rash.
More often than not, penile papules are caused by a viral infection. In this case, the infection is often treated with antibiotics. However, if papules are caused by a bacterial infection then there are no antibiotics.
Penile papules are often caused by a viral infection (as mentioned above), so you can probably guess that it’s a good idea to treat them as soon as possible. This is especially true if you have more than one infected penile. When you treat a papule with antibiotics, you can find out if you have another papule by doing a test. If you do, then you know you have to treat it.
Like the other treatments, penile papules can be dangerous if done incorrectly. If you have a papule that is bleeding or ulcerating, you should call your doctor and they will give you a prescription for antibiotics. If you have a papule that doesn’t need antibiotics, you can try home treatment. The best type of home treatment is just a simple bath with warm water. Don’t use anything harsh or abrasive because that will only irritate the papule.
You can also try over-the-counter medications or prescription drugs. A prescription will not harm your papule at all.
If you want to try home treatment, you can use any of the following methods. If you are not using a medical professional, you can just use your hands like it’s a cold bath. Some people like to use over-the-counter medications. The best method is to just keep it as simple as possible. If it is painful, take a break. If it is uncomfortable, use it until its gone.
Some people have been known to use prescription drugs for the pain in their papules, specifically the anti-histamines. The problem here is that these drugs can also cause stomach upsets, making it more difficult to eat.
As a dermatologist, I can attest that many of the people who have it in their skin and who think they can just get away with using a prescription drug, actually have other conditions that are causing the pain. The other problem is that many of the pills can cause liver damage, so they can actually cause a serious problem if taken for a prolonged period.
